Ric Alston saved my life!

Not exactly true but at the time it seemed as if he had. A small office running a couple of computers with no really effective back up system and wham a hard drive fails. Not just any hard drive but the one carrying a hundred of so architectural projects - the life blood of the business.

In my blind panic I called Ric, purely by chance, he happened to be the closest chap to the office in the phone book. He came, he assessed, he took the thing away, like a consultant at a hospital he made no false promises he made no attempt to raise my hopes he calmly went about his business.

A call later that day confirmed that he had saved everything, he had retrieved every single file!

That was ten years ago. Since then he has designed, built and installed a multi back up system running our network with out any fear of a repercussion of that initial problem, and all of the computers sitting on it. He is always the first port of call if something goes wrong, actually the only port of call when things go wrong! He organised the construction and maintenance of our first website and is now dealing with the replacement, I wouldn't have considered using anyone else.

So he knows his stuff, but what is more important is he is a great chap, a pleasure to work with!
